CrewButton ("we," "us") is operated by Econ Labs LLC, a Texas limited liability company. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. Questions: jude@crewbutton.com or Econ Labs LLC, 3990 Vitruvian Way Apt 341, Addison, TX 75001.
1. What we collect.
Account: name, email address, phone number. Job requests: the service location you provide (address or ZIP), your job description, and any photos you attach. Payments: processed by Stripe, Inc. — we receive transaction confirmations but never see or store your full card number. Usage & diagnostics: device type, app interactions, and crash reports (via Sentry) so we can fix problems. Location: only the address/ZIP you type. We do not track your device's GPS in the background.
2. How we use artificial intelligence.
When you describe a job, AI language models process your description to match it to a service category (e.g., "water under the sink" → Plumbing). Your job description and photos may be processed by third-party AI providers solely to provide this feature. AI output can be wrong — you always see and confirm the category before anything is sent. We do not use your data to train AI models.
3. What businesses receive.
When you pay to send a request, participating businesses receive your job description, any photos, your first name, and the general service area — that is the product working. Your phone number and email address are not shared with businesses; all messages relay through CrewButton.
4. Service providers.
We share data with vendors who operate our infrastructure: Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting/database), Resend (email delivery), Google (maps and business data), Sentry (crash reporting), and AI providers (category matching). Each receives only what its function requires. We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
5. Business listings.
Businesses shown in the app, including names, locations, and ratings, are sourced from publicly available data including Google. Businesses may claim their listing and control their participation.
6. Text messages (when available).
If we offer SMS features, we will send texts only with your prior express opt-in consent. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help. Consent to SMS is never a condition of using CrewButton.
7. Retention and deletion.
We keep account and transaction records while your account is active and as required for legal, tax, and dispute purposes. You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete Account) or by emailing jude@crewbutton.com. Upon deletion we remove your personal data except records we're legally required to retain (e.g., payment/transaction history).
8. Security.
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure; use a strong password.
9. Eligibility.
CrewButton is for adults 18 and older in the United States. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we learn we have, we delete it.
10. Your rights.
Depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. Email jude@crewbutton.com and we'll honor them.
11. Changes.
We'll post updates here with a new effective date. Material changes get in-app notice.
