Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Econ Labs LLC ("Econ Labs", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the CrewButton mobile app and related services (the "Service"). By using CrewButton, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

• Account information. Your email address, used to sign in via a one-time verification code.
• Request details. When you create a quote request, we collect the job category, a short text description you write, your ZIP code, and a photo you choose to attach.
• Location. With your permission, we use your device location once to suggest your ZIP code. You can decline and enter the ZIP manually. We do not track your location in the background.
• Quotes and activity. Quotes that service professionals submit in response to your request, and basic app activity needed to operate the Service.
• Device token. If you enable notifications, a push token so we can alert you when a quote arrives.

How we use information

• To send your request to matching local service businesses in your area and category.
• To collect their quotes and show them to you, sorted by price, inside the app.
• To notify you (by email and/or push notification) when a quote is submitted.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service.

How we share information

• With service professionals. To get you quotes, we share your request details (category, description, ZIP, and the attached photo) with the matched professionals. We do not share your email address or phone number with them unless you choose to contact them.
• Service providers. We use Supabase to store data, Resend to send email on our behalf, RevenueCat to process in-app purchases (it receives your account identifier and purchase/transaction details), Apple and Google to convert a ZIP or device location into a place on a map, and Google Places to find local businesses that match your request. These providers process data only to provide their services to us.
• Legal. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention & deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete account in the app, which permanently removes your account, requests, and quotes. You may also email us to request deletion.

Your choices

• Decline location access and enter your ZIP manually.
• Turn notifications on or off in your device settings.
• Delete your account and associated data at any time.

Children

CrewButton is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
